Your Responsibilities:

* Work as a team member in business development team, as a technical expert in technology standards and trends, to support business development activities within Business Line (BL) Interface Products
* Fulfill the role of technical resource to business development managers
* Contribute to roadmap development and innovation
* Identify new business and product development opportunities
* Working with key customers, sales and distribution partners on product definition
* Provide technical inputs to assist senior management to set and manage priorities, align roadmap and resource needs, present business development cases and create NPRs (new product requests)
* Follow technology and market trends in a wide range of interface technologies, such as high-speed serial interfaces, display technologies, LED drivers, and system management interfaces
* Write technical articles for trade journals on NXP technologies and solutions
* Represent NXP in applicable standards bodies and special interest groups such as VESA / DisplayPort, PCI-SIG, SATA-IO etc.
* Provide technical inputs to assist design-ins of BL products into reference designs from key partners
* Provide technical analysis in competitive studies
* Provide technical analysis in creating sustaining competitive advantages and value prositions in new products for the BL

Your Profile:

-MSEE preferred, BSEE with sufficient applicable experience.
-Fast and curious learner, eager to learn about new technologies and applications.
-Excellent communicator and technical team leader.
-Good technical writing skills in English.
-Ability to operate in a highly dynamic team environment and an international fast-paced customer environment.
-Ability to travel internationally as well as domestically.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently in accordance with broadly defined business objectives.
-Must be a self-motivated, high-energy and highly organized individual.

-Technical expertise in 5Gbps-plus high-speed signal integrity, multiplexers, switches, level shifters, buffers, repeaters, adapters, embedded display technologies, real-time clocks, LED drivers, and system management interfaces. Good knowledge in interface technologies, such as PCI Express, DisplayPort, USB3.0, SATA, I2C, SPI, UART.
-Intimate knowledge of IC development and validation processes, semiconductors  industry, trends in technology.
-Experience in working on ICs that are mixed-signal.
-Working knowledge in software-hardware co-design.

-Possession of great system and application knowledge and insights, in particular in a wide range of products spanning computing, mobile handsets, automotive, and industrial applications.
-Affinity with business management and marketing.
